Pastels and Passion Fashion and Friends to Housing and Trends

Morning! Coming from someone who is always looking for something new and exciting to add to my life, I highly suggest joining a book club. Okay, maybe a little premature to make that statement as I’ve only been in mine for two weeks, but if you can’t tell, I have high hopes.

Lady Getz (Tia, a friend for almost a decade) has put together a group of bad a** women who will travel through a new book each month. This month we’re reading “Work Party” by Jaclyn Johnson. I am only 4 chapters in, so I’ll update you after I am done to see what I thought. Let me also point out that the tag line for the book reads; “Women who want it all and more, and guess what? They can have it.” (I think we’re on to something good.)

Although the spots for this month filled quickly, Tia has released spots for her next and guess what book it is? “Girl, Wash Your Face” by Rachel Hollis – which I have already online gushed about! I absolutely loved this book and felt I could relate on so many levels, all while opening my eyes to struggles she went through, which I’ll never experience. I crushed the book on my plane ride home from a work conference and never looked back. Which also translates into the fact that I walked in to Chapters and bought multiple books for my like-minded friends so they could enjoy the message as well. (I should have qualified for a lifetime discount based off that one purchase alone!)
