This week, we attended a #friendsgiving and it far surpassed my expectations!
We sat with 90 other like-minded individuals and shared an amazing supper (prepared by @serendipity_gfree_catering )
We were asked to write on helium balloons what we were thankful for. My two balloons read 1)my family, friends and our health and 2)my journey. They actually go hand in hand as my journey led me to meet my friends (and people who have become family) and my ‘sphere of influence’ has led me on this amazing journey.
Coming home after the event, my husband and I talked about what we’re thankful for and knew the good comes with the bad and the bad won’t last forever.
Have you ever attended a friendsgiving? If you haven’t, maybe consider hosting your own!
Ps- we were asked to wear plaid so I borrowed my husbands dress shirt and the grocery bag is holding my non-perishable donations to the food bank.
What are you thankful for?⠀⠀⠀
