Hello, best book ever! (Okay, maybe not ever but I am definitely a huge fan!) Girl, Wash Your Face was such an easy read and was exactly what I needed after coming home from a “pump up” conference in Halifax! Social media is funny because it creates this unrealistic expectation of life, which is why I always try and be real on my feed and blog. Our lives are not perfect but our attitude also affects our experience and that is something I am very good at controlling. Waking up each day remembering this is a new opportunity to kick butt and shape my future is a key part to why (most days) I have a huge smile on my face. The saying “don’t compare your life to someone else’s highlight reel,” has to be one of the most accurate statements and always something to keep in mind. So next time you catch yourself wishing you had a different life, remember, where you go – has a lot to do with your attitude. I suggest if you haven’t already read this book… go invest! I scooped it for $20.00 in an airport this past week.
