When you live 1/2 the year in climate that requires a closed toe shoe, options sometimes get boring. We’ve seen thigh-high boots and over the knee trends but there’s a new boot gaining interest this year and its the ankle boot! I am loving this style lately and have one pair that have become my go-to boot option. (A crushed velvet black with subtle floral design I scored while visiting a gf in the USA!) Creating the transition just above the ankle creates the image of a longer leg rather than 1/2 way down where over-the-knee used to stop. Paired with a cute cuffed jean or leggings, these boots are about to take over and become the go to “shoe-strong” trend this Spring.
